Lucille Marie Deckard, 83

SEYMOUR — Lucille Marie Deckard, 83, of Seymour, died Monday at Heritage House.

Born Nov. 11, 1921, in Harrodsburg, she was the daughter of Ordie Swango and Lola Sherlock.

She was a homemaker, and attended the Assembly of God church in Harrodsburg.

Survivors include one sister, Maxine Swango of Bloomington; two daughters, Rev.

Marlene Rice and husband, Rev. Bryan Rice of Bloomington; and Suzanne Walls and husband Phil Walls of Lafayette, La.; one nephew, Robert and wife Betty East; grandchildren Marla Haymaker, Cynthia Hughes, Greg Walls and Chris Walls; and six great-grandchildren, Christina Hughes, A.J. Pittman, Danny Hughes, Helena Walls, Lucas Walls and Bryan Ray Haymaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Esther East.

Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Day Funeral Home, with the Rev. Lloyd Swango officiating. Burial will be at Clover Hill Cemetery in Harrodsburg.
