I recently started looking for my Burke's again. Found my old post and your reply. I am the great granddaughter of Mary (Florence)Burke, McEvoy Monteith. A cousin Florence Griffin told me there was a inquest report and she would see if she could find a copy for me. Didn't happen.

I have a different email address from anything before than 2011. NEW lrehpitcher@hotmail.com. I got hijacked from someone in Spain and I finally gave up an got a new address.

I can't help but wonder if some of the old stories I have always heard are factual. Florence was named after Lady Florence McGlynn who lost her title because she married outside her faith. Guess Charles Burke is from Sir John DeBurgo, 2nd son of Baron of Cennel Castle, Co Limerick who was hanged 20 Oct 1607. Can't help but wonder if there is any truth to that.
