Most of us do it that way...it seems to work. Isn't it kind of neat to learn your family may have come a different path? Not sure which Daniel you're related to, but I did come across several branches of the tree that have Sir and Lady titles. I know of one branch that came from Scotland that was also a Lord. Given the Norman connection, it makes sense as they tended to be the landed gentry in England for hundreds of years after they invaded. That's kind of cool.
