Dear Neil, I am seeking information on a brother of my Grt G'father (John Fisher Currie) who had a brother James born about 1834-6 period near the River of Ae on the eastern boundary of the Closeburn Parish, Dumfriesshire, which is not too far away from Catrine in East Ayrshire. We do not know what happened to our James Currie, who was the son of George (agricultural labourer) and Janet Currie (nee Fisher), they had a family of about 10 children.
