Trying confirm parentage of John Crockett b. 1789 in Shropshire England who married Mary Vaughan. They had 4 children Mary Ann 25 Aug1807-1857, George Crockett 7 Oct 1809-1856, Eliza 17 March 1812-1889 and Walter Harry 4 May 1816-1899. George was transported to Aust and Walter my gggfather also came to Aust but not as a convict as far as we know.
I have located a Richard Crockett b 1744 Shropshire and bapt 1747 14 June Church Pulverpatch and married Anne Griffith 20 May 1777 Pontesbury, Shropshire.
They went on to have at least 4 children - Mary Christened 11 Jan 1778 Habberley Shropshire, Thomas Christ 29 April 1781, Pontesbury Shrop, Sarah Christ 1 Jan 1788 Pontesbury Shrop and John Christ 27 March 1791 Pontesbury Shrop. Would like to know if I am on the right track or if Richard and Anne belong to another Crockett line.
