Daniel CRITCHLOW b1779 Monyash Derbyshire England was a five times great grandfather of mine and an ancestor of many others.

I hope to secure a Y-DNA haplotype from at least one male-line descendant and would be keen to compare with other Critchlow branches, especially those originating in 18th century Derbyshire and Staffordshire.

If it would help, I'd run a family DNA project but surely there's somebody out there better qualified by molecular genealogy knowledge and Critchlow kinship...
