What a coincidence, my Crean relatives came from County Cork, Ireland in 1867 and my uncle is also researching it too. Our ancestor was Dennis Crean (1780?-?1850), who had a son, Cornelius Crean (1810?-1876). Cornelius, in turn, married Catherine Sullivan (1820?-?1890) and had seven chidlren, including my ancestor Dennis Michael Crean (1846-1887). Dennis Michael, in turn, married Ellen Freeman (1847-1916) and they had seven children, including my ancestor Dennis Michael Crean Jr. (1872-1954). Dennis Jr. married Margaret Rose Mulcahy (1876-1950) and had eight children, including my grandfather Walter Francis Crean (1908-1995). Walter, in turn, married Dorothy Mildred MacDonough (1920-1972) and had three sons, my father was the eldest son. Any information would be most helpful to my uncle and I.
