My wife's great grandfather, Martin Craven, was born about 1857 and arrived in New York in 1880 and then settled in the Boston area. He embarked we think from Waterford, but he didn't necessarily live there. My wife and I traveled to Ireland a few years ago and have some records of Cravens and visited a couple of graveyards where there were Cravens. I'll have to go into her records this weekend to give you more detail, but I'll be happy to do so. We know nothing else and learned nothing from Ireland about Martin, however. He married Katherine Burke, also from Ireland.
