Surnames: SPARKS, CRANDALL
I have NO IDEA what his first name is! I have his picture with Mary, and 3 children - a girl, and 2 boys. I know that one of the boys is named Charles Crandall, and that he was 26 and married to Hattie Hartman Crandall (age 25) in the 1920 Geneva, NY census. He and Hattie are living with Mary (my gr gr grandfather's sister), and Charles's nephew, Ralph Laws (8) is living with them as well. Ralph is listed as Mary's grandson - she is head of household, so one assumes Ralph is the son of her daughter. I have a picture of her and (at least some of) her family here: http://www.geocities.com/genes_a_plenty/SparksPicPage1.html
The Crandall family is not in the 1910 Geneva census. I can widen my search...but to WHERE?? I do not know when my unknown Crandall died, and I have no names for the other children which I can feel sure of. The other son MAY be Wallace. He is in the 1930 census right below Mary, but not the 1920, as far as I can see. They are all on the same page in the 1930 census, which gives me some hope. Charles now has a daughter named Barbara (2). The 1930 Geneva census is, at this time, not viewable on Ancestry.com. They know there is a problem, and will be fixing asap. If anyone has clues for me, I'm anxious to hear. Thanks.
