In my Mullins genealogy I have Nancy Mullins and Hiram Cantrell having a daughter named Arminda Cantrell. And after Arminda's name is Stepchild. Arminda was born April 4, 1850 in Pike Co., Ky and died Nov. 19, 1914 in Wise Co., VA. She was married to William Cantrell and after he died she married Isham Mullins. She had children by both men. By having stepchild after her name I am wondering which one is her step parent. Is it Nancy Mullins or Hiram Cantrell. If her mother is Nancy then maybe she is an Elswick but if Cantrell is her father then who is her mother? I have the names of her children by both men.
