Do you have any other info on this COTTON/COLE name change? I have two Cottons I am trying to find and having no luck. Catherine Cotton appears on the 1920 census living with her daughter Mary and son-in-law (Walter Joseph Hamilton). They lived in Faulkner Co. It lists both of their birth states as Alabama. Do these names appear in your data? Or a possible Faulkner Co connection?
