Hello Kev

Bridget's birth was registered in the Binalong-Goulburn area, I think Taylors Flat would be more accurate. Apart from Bridgit's eldest siblings Patrick and Mary, who were born at "Tirranna" when Michael was still living there working for Andrew Gibson, all the other 10 children were born when Michael was living out in the Taylors Flat area. Around 1840 Andrew Gibson died, but the Gibson family had acquired extensive property holdings along the Lachlan River, and Michael continued working for the Gibson family looking after their interests up there. The 10 children born to Michael and Catherine up there had Taylors Creek, Fish River, Walla Walla, or Wheeo as their places of birth, but they all point to Taylors Flat. The family was living on what the locals still call "Cotters Block" near the junction of Callaba Creek and the Lachlan River which were previously known as Taylors Creek and Fish River.

Sometime around 1870 Michael moved to Binalong where he took up a selection on what was the Bendenine Estate. His sons also took up selections there though they tended to move out of the area later. They obviously were living there in 1870 when 17 year old Bridgit caught William Dulling-McCombie's eye as they married in Binalong.
