My father was Earl Edward Courmier from Vinton, Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana. He was born 9/27/1916, died 5/12/1978. His brothers were: Clarence Calvin Courmier, b 8/27/1898 d 12/13/1945, and Everett Elmer Courmier, b 3/25/1919 d 7/15/1997. His father was Peter Sarsan Courmier b 3/25/1878 d 2/28/1944. My grandfather's (Peter) siblings were, to the best of my knowledge, Joseph, Ogese (August), Jake, Arthur, Adam, Teancon, Myrtle, and Melete Courmier.

I tried to get a copy of my grandfather's death certificate from the state of Louisiana, but they were unable to locate a death certificate for him. Therefore, I really don't know who his parents were. Any help you can give me will be greatly appreciated.
