I have a Sarah Carter (g x 2 Aunt) married to James Baalham in my family tree. Marriage took place on 25th Nov 1828 at Polstead. William Carter (gx2 Uncle) was a witness to this marriage. Polstead parish registers.

There has been postings that Sarah was William Corders sister. This could not have been as William Corder was hung 11 August 1828 by gallows in Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk.He could not have witnessed the marriage if he had been dead for some months.
