CORRECTION -- In an earlier post I commented on the issue of the wives of James Cole (son of John and Patience Barber Cole of Plympton, MA). I misstated the name of his first wife. I should have said MERCY TILSON (not Mary). This first marriage was on 16 Dec 1742. He also married Bennett Barrows on 16 Aug 1746, then Meriah Rickard on 14 Feb 1750, and lastly Deborah Davenport on 4 Dec 1755. My sources are the VR of Plympton and Carver, and "Mayflower Families", Vol. 12. Hope I got it right this time. Sorry for any confusion.
