Found info on a CPT Abraham Cole in book on VA Soldiers of 1776. Text basic talk about his heirs getting land because of his military service.

The dates of this action was 25 May 1833 based on actions where Governor (of VA, later text says this was Wyndham Robertson, Gov. (Acxting), allowed land bounty to his heirs.

Nansemond Co Court 10 June 1833 Certified following as his heirs:
Esther Mahan -- Charlotte Jones -- Cristian Dukes -- Dempsey Byrd -- Benton Byrd -- Abram Bryd -- Herman Savage -- Margaret Harrell -- Esther Harrell.
This is based on evidence presented by Henry Rawls and Jonathan McClenney by oath and certified John Kilby, Clerk, Nansemond Co 15 June 1833.
Text goes on to give other names lawyers and witness to events related to this.
Warrant 7363 for 4000 Acres issued 27 June 1833.
Working on more info around this as the Harrell line is my line.... Know, I think, who Esther Harrell is but not clear link to this Cole, yet.
