Mrs. Catherine Elizabeth Clark died at her home, three and one-half miles northeast of Decatur, at 7 o'clock Saturday morning. Her death was the result of a stroke of apoplexy followed by complications. Mrs. Clark was the widow of the the late Michael Clark. Mrs. Clark was born in Decatur April 30, 1857. Her maiden name was Collins. She was brought up in Decatur, spending her entire life in Macon county. She was married to Michael Clark in December, 1874. Six children survive her. Nellie Clark, Mrs. W. F. Bowman, John Clark, William Clark, Mrs. L.H. Garber and Pearl Clark, all living at home or in Decatur. Mrs. Clark is also survived by two brothers and two sisters. Patrick and Tim Collins, Mrs. James McKinley and Mrs. John Griffin. Mrs. Clark was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church and was pious and devout. The funeral will be held at St. Patrick's at 9 o'clock Monday morning. Burial will be in Calvary.
