I had some trouble finding both myron (miron) and John C. Chittenden. But once I did, the pieces all fell into place for my family. I purchased the book "Early Families of Guilford, Connecticut" for the first few generations, down to Daniel Chittenden. Then I used Ancestry.com and SharedTree and Geni to find out more about the two men I was missing, namely John C, who was shown to be Warren E. Chittenden's father in a census. Then I found out that Miron was John's father also on a census, and a family tree, and then I had a complete family tree for that side.
