My DNA is showing quite a notable Carroll connection. My biological 4x-great-grandparents, 3x-great-grandmother and siblings, arrived from County Westmeath Ireland to the US 26Mar1849. Names are Hassett (b.c.1806)(aka Hassan, Hassen, Hassad, Hafsen) and Battersby (b.c.1800), buried St. Francis Cemetery, LeRoy, Genesee, NY. Other notable names we are researching are Maguire and Driscoll.
