GEORGE CARNAHAN

Gently and peacefully we said goodbye to George, loving husband of 48 years to Vivian and loving father to Ryan (Kira), Jill and Jennifer (Steve).
At 70 years of age, George passed away on Aug. 23, 2014.
George's devotion to his family and his generosity had no boundaries. We will continue feel his love even in his absence.
George's quick wit and sense of humor made it easy to make friends and keep them for a lifetime. Even in his final days, he never lost this spirit and still managed to make us laugh. His entrepreneurial spirit made him unafraid to try new things. His sensitive side always put others first. If something was wrong, he was compelled to make it right. He lived his life with honesty, integrity and tenacity.
George's life's work included probation officer, parole officer, service manager, realtor, entrepreneur, and pharmaceutical sales and manager where he earned numerous awards and trips around the world.
Predeceased by his father George Carnahan, step-father Bruce Simpson, mother Dorothy Simpson, sister Pat Wittman and brother-in-law Hans Wittman.
George leaves behind to remember him his brother Rod Simpson (Jane), sister Sheila Humphreys, brother-in-law Brian Elsenheimer (Marilyn), brother-in-law Dale Elsenheimer (Linda), sister-in-law Tammy Court (Kevin), step-grand daughter Sky and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was loved by many and will be missed dearly.
A celebration of George's life will be held at Lindon House 1449 Ethel St. Kelowna at 2:00 P.M. on Sept 17th, 2014.
In lieu of flowers a donation to the charity of your choice, with special consideration to Inspire Health or Hospice House in Kelowna, British Columbia would be appreciated.
