I am descended from Roque Carattini:

His parents were Valerio Carattini and Ana Fililla (from Corsica).

He married Antonia Teresa Martinez from Ai Bonito. Her parents were Antonio Martinez and Teresa Ortiz, although this has yet to be confirmed. I need someone in Cuomo PR to go to the church where the marriage records are kept and check their marriage certificate. It may have other family members' names recorded.

Roque and Antonia had 10 children:
Roque, Felix (Papa Firo), Juan José, Orozco, Antonio (Saba), Dolores (Loli), Carmelita (Carmen), Anita, Teresa, Maria Eufrosina (Doña Pupa).
I am descended from Dolores (Loli), my great grandmother, but I am in contact with descendents from some of her siblings. I have information on the 10 children of Roque and Antonia, if anyone would like more information.

I also have Carattini Baptism records from Salinas from the mid 1800's. The records are very fragile and falling apart. I hope the church gets them scanned soon or they'll be lost forever! Send me an email address and I'll send them to anyone who is interested
