I have done quite a lot of research since this post, and found my Family were from Cassino, right next to Cervaro.
I am also in touch with a Curtis who was born in Cervaro, who's Mother was a Capaldi.
I dont suppose you know when your Grandfather was born do you?

My GGgrandfather was Giuseppe, he had 2 Brothers. One was Giovanni who he travelled to UK with, but Giovanni returned in 1910's and other was Francesco who i am unsure what he done?
