OBITUARY OF ANNA REED WARNACA
'Adams County Free Press', Corning IA. 16 Apr 1902

Anna H., wife of Lewis G. Warnaca, died March 22, at her home near Rocky, Okla., at the age of twenty-seven years, eleven months and twenty-three days. She had been a great sufferer for the past six months from gangrene in the foot which resulted in three amputations and which finally resulted in her death. Anna Harriet Reed was born in Mt. Etna, Ia., March 29, 1874; was married December 31, 1890, to Lewis G. Warnaca. Of this union three children were born, two of whom are living. Deceased, at the age of twelve years, united with the Evangelical church and later with the M. E. church. The family removed to Arkansas a few years ago living there for a time; two years ago the removed to the present home where she died. She was cheerful during her illness and made all arrangements for her funeral, chose the minister, Rev. Lilly of the M. E. church of Hobart who preached the funeral sermon at the Baptist church in Rocky.
