I have great uncles by that name and they lived in Illinois origionally coming from Pennsylavania and origionally these Burrights came from England, and yes one brother went south to Oklahoma. The other brother went to Illinois- oregan area and eventually to northwest and southwest Iowa to farm. I however have no Burright relation by the first name that you are looking for, but Leon, Orren and Milton are all distant uncles of mine. I'm writing because I looking for the address and phone number of David Burright- former county sheriff in Linn county- Albany, Oregon. More importantly, I beleive he has a brother or close relation who if a fire chief in northern oregon somewhere out east of Portland. If so I want to talk to him.
