Hi Warren, She isn't afro american, she just was a keeper of all things and of various spellings of burell. I found her since I had a photo and some other items of an afro american woman who was a Christian Scientist in Los Angeles and was born or was from a SC family in the Beaufort area. To tell the truth, you may have to search under the name of Burrell(soundex) to find her. The best clue I have after all these years is Washington State is where I mailed the items.
