John S was born in abt 1792 in NY or PA (1850 census). He died between 1850 and 1855 (1850 US Census, 1855 NY Census, Steuben County Historical Society in Bath, NY). Lucretia Morse, was born around 1813, to a Wiliam Morse and Marinda Monuy. she is believed to have married John bef 1832, and she married a Samuel Eaves/Eavis by 1860, dying after the 1880 Census(1860, 1870 US Census). The Steuben Co Historical Society has a complete family tree for the Morse line and a card listing the family for John and Lucretia. I have a photocopy of the card and an email of the family tree from J.K. Morse who organized it.
