This line has been driving me crazy for quite a while now. It's one of Duncan's sons that I'm looking for - William Henry Buchanan. He served in the Civil War but just disappeared in 1864 - no discharge, not killed - just no further record! I believe he is the father of my Great-grandmother, Annie Belle Buchanan.
