I recently obtained some old pictures from a resale shop. Among the was a picture of an 8 year old girl, names Rose La Voyce Brooks. Written on the back was 26 Apr 1940, Sherman School L 3rd, Mrs Bumper. This is not my family but will gladly give this picture to someone in this family if they would like to have it.
Online I found a Rose La Voyce Brooks daughter of Samuel Edward Brooks and Barbara Burlew, DOB 05 Dec 1931, Harris Co, Tx.
