Thanks for answering my thread on ancestry.com. I am trying to find out the source of the information that you have. I can't seem to find where it is documented that John Lodowick is the son of Lodowick Brodie? I think he will probably fit in the family tree but no real link. John Lodowick Brodie was the father of William R. "Willie" Brodie and his son was Kenneth Brodie which is my father-in-law who died in 1968. So that is the connection that I am looking for.
