Am also trying to find more information on him. I did find something giving his mothers' name as Rebecca; and his children were: Alice, Raymond Nelson [my grandfather], Emma, and Anna. A grandson of Anna, who lives in PA and I have been sharing information, but neither of us have come up with anything yet. Do you mind sharing your relationship ? I did find that there's a Historical Society in Towanda, which I plan to visit again, the next time I'm back that way [I live in California]. I visited in 1998, but only found one index card on anothe family member. Can you tell me; how did you find, that he came to PA at the age of 18 ??
