Also in your Bratcher family line has there been anyone who has had the DNA testing through FTDNA or another company?

My husband's 2nd great grandfather Silas Bratcher was born in Grayson County, KY in 1834 and was in the Civil War (War between the States) - Union side. (Silas Bratcher's photo is posted on the internet).
A daughter of his, Laura Belle Bratcher married Bennett Commodore Bratcher (he was a son of Bennett Bratcher born 1822-1824 in Grayson County, KY and he was in the War Between The States - Union Army).

DNA testing is valuable in connecting family members to the Virginia branch - the South Carolina branch, the Tennessee branch, etc.
