It seems that my Grand Parents were from Manchester. The only issue seems to be that both sets were Bradshaws. First or second cousins it seems and nobody is sure.
The Family arrived over in Canada in the late 1800s and started up A. Bradshaw and Sons and sold textiles in Toronto Canada. There were, from what my Father told me, quit a few that settled in the lower parts of Ontario. I have been told that there is a A. Bradshaw and sons in Manchester also. Probably the same family. I assume that they sent someone from the family over here to set up an office here.
During WW2 my father was at Canadian Military Headquarters in London. His first name was Charles. He did contact family members when he was over there but never talked much about them.
It would be interesting to here from someone over in England to fill in some of the blanks. my Grand Fathers name Was Robert Alexander Bradshaw and my Grand Mothers name was Mary Elizabeth(I think)Bradshaw. Her nick name was Polly. Other than that not much else is known about the English side of the Family.
