You have come to the right place! Yes, we are related,and I am also in contact with another descendant (Sue, whose grandmother was Beatrice Ellen) who is my 2nd cousin once removed (I think) who lived in Garston (nr Watford) and Jack shared the house with her and her Mum, and yes he did live to a ripe old age.
My ggparent Francis married Elizabeth (nee Griffin) in 1864.They had 7 children (Francis, Samuel, William John (aka Jack - the Jack you have referred to who was born on 16th October 1867), James, Elizabeth (the paternal grandmother of Sue who I have been in contact with and I refer to above as the other contact), Charles (my grandfather) and Louisa (aka Rosa).
Charles (my grandfather) born 1877, married Miriam (nee Dewin) in 1899, and had 9 children. The family lived in and around St Pancras and Camden.
I'm sure Sue would be interested in this link as well, and I'll inform her if she hasn't already seen this posting.
