I hope this Francis does turn out to be one of yours. Since my last message I have found out a bit more. This Francis died in 1847 aged 66. He was the son of another Francis who died in 1801. They (and many more) are buried in a family vault at St John the Baptist Church in Malden.

I don't know where you live, but if you get to have a look at it, it MAY help. If you can't let me know, and I'll pop over there and take down details. It's only a few minutes from my house. There are maybe 10-14 people buried in the vault, and aside from their dates etc, it tends to say "brother of" or "son of", that sort of thing. The insciriptions are quite legible. You never know, you may strike lucky!
