Hello Barb. Curious if you ever found out more info on Fredrick and Caroline Bluess/Bliss? I am tracing them too. My son-in-law is Matt Bliss, decendant of Earnest Bliss (Gottlieb's brother), born in 1880. They were from Hammond, Lake County, Indiana.

Are you positive on the family name of Pluess?
