In order to get information that is not available in Ireland because of the destruction or non existence of records, I am trying to get hold of the marriage details of a marriage in Ohio of:-

THOMAS BLONG Marriage: SARAH JANE WILLIAMS on 13 FEB 1856 , in Hamilton, Ohio {source code 5-P-L (1850-59)}

The family appears to have changed their name to BLANC soon after this.

As a non American it appears to me to be very difficult to get marriage records on line. Is there any way of getting Thomas Blong/Blanc's parents details from his marriage cert.

As far as I can gather one has to contact local probate court, who do not accept online applications.

Is there an easy way for me to get details of this marriage.
