hi Eileen...I read your query in the Kovel's newsletter. I am an amateur geneaologist (my family) and I also like to see stuff find its' way back to family. I have found homes for a number of photos. Anyway, I did a quick tour through ancestry.com and caught up with you here on the Bishop board. Joanne did a great job. there were several things I found that you might not have.
*1910 census; Vermont>Essex>Concord>District 99 (ancestry image 20)
George E. listed as Married 14 yrs but no wife listed. living with Carroll, Clara, Bertha AND
servant, Emma Dickerson, age 29...her children Isabella age 4, Dorris or Lorna age 1 6/12 all b. VT
this Emma matches (age &birthplace) wife Emma of 1920 census, but, her daughters missing 1920 census.
*1920 census South Dakota>Brown>Aberdeen ward 4>Dist. 42 (image 4)
Carroll Bishop, age 23 roomer in Morrison Hotel, fireman for Railroad. listed as Widowed
