Looking for information on James Best b. 1567 d. 1617. He married in 1590 to Dorothy (Hobart???) b 1571 d 1605. They had eight children: Paul, Henry, Charles, Faith, John, Anne, Sarah, Robert. I believe that James's father is Richard Best.

I'm descendant from John Best b 1603 in England and died 1658 in New Kent Co., VA. He arrived in VA 1640. John married Mary Lott or Lost. They had at least one son, John.
