Did you ever sort this out? I'm very interested in the New Jersey John Berry and am in the process of gathering lots of information on him. In particular, I'm trying to figure out possible connections to Quackers and the Dutch. I did find the baptism record for a Thomas, son of John and Elizabeth Berry in the record of Christ Church Parish, Barbados dated 10 November 1654. Not sure which John Berry the father is. Any information on the New Jersey John Berry and how he got to New Jersey via Barbados and possibly Holland would be greatly appreciated.
