Hello cousins =D well at least I think you are? my name is Kevin Allan Benzie im a private of 7 Scots, Royal Regiment of Scotland. I'm 18 years old and have wanted to research my family tree for a number of years now. I have very little information to offer at the moment. I live in Aberdeenshire in a village called Insch, a few miles from a village called Oyne. My grandfather Leslie Benzie lived in Insch all his life I think? but have no knowledge of his father, i believe we may be linked to Oyne and Bennachie. Oyne is at the back o' Bennachie which is a large hill or mountain, some say its the heart of Aberdeenshire. I try to search the origin of Benzie and all I seem to get is "Aberdeenshire". this probably is'nt much help to any1, just letting you know that if I find information I will post. thank you for reading ?cousins? ;)
