So far in my research I've only found documentation as far back as Isaac F. Benge (the elder), born in Kentucky in 1836, died while serving in the Civil War, 1864, buried in Chattanooga.

I would love to share in any information that you have that can help me connect the dots. I am also very interested in any times to Native American heritage. My maternal grandmother's maiden name is Bange, born 1921 and still living.
