I think Angeline Beck was born in North Carolina, and her parents probably also. The closest census record I've found is from 1869, Father Jo L Beck (John Lindsay) and mother Matilda (Byerly). She is a bit of a puzzle since her birthplace and age seem to change from census to census. If someone has a better theory than this one, I'd like to hear it.
