I'm sorry I can't help with the information you need, but I'm going on a long shot to ask you if you have a Thomas BATTEN in your records who would have been born around 1815 in England. I believe he had a sister named Lucy, and he may have had a brother named Calvin. I have never been able to find anything which tells me where my Thomas BATTEN lived in England. By 1838, or so, he had moved here to Canada and married. Children in his family were named Elvina, Lucy, Mary Elizabeth, Sarah Ann (my third great grandmother), Charlotte (Thomas' wife's name surname GILBERT), Calvin, Hiram, John William, Matilda (Deborah Matilda), Emily (Emma). There may have been one or two others, I'm going on memory here.
