Hello Lance,

I do not have any help for you on your quest, but thought I would ask if during your research you have found docs on other Barnharts that might help me.

I am interested in Barnharts that lived in Preble County beginning on/about 1817. Jacob 1755-1837 was born in Frederick Maryland and purchased land in Preble in 1817. His children are well documented - I have a copy of his will listing the 9 children. His son, David was also born in Frederick in 1785 and both David and Jacob died and are buried in Preble County. David died in 1876 but his children are not clear from documents - have listings from Ancestry and FamilySearch of his son, David, born 1805 in PA, death not clear. He is of most interest to me as his son, William D 1828-1908 is my great grandfather and I have many docs from Galveston, IN where he lived and died.

If I turn up anything on your request I will pass it on.

Thanks,

Ray Barnhart
