I wish I could tell you that I'm an expert on the Bailey line, but I just started reseaching this connection about a month ago. My grandmother passed on some genealogy that goes back to Phillip Baily of Sussex County Virginia, but that's as far as I have been able to connect.

The Benjamin Bailey you refer to would likely be an ancestor of Phillip, but that would be a leap of faith without any documentation. I would like to work further with you to somehow connect the two; what are your sources for the Benjamin line?
