1. SANFORD2 BACCUS (JOHN1) was born Abt. 1821 in Jackson Co., Ohio, and died December 15, 1861 in Putnam Co., Missouri1. He married NANCY SCURLOCK February 15, 1844 in Jackson Co., Ohio, daughter of JOSHUA SCURLOCK and MARTHA LONG. She was born Abt. 1826 in Jackson Co., Ohio, and died in Putnam Co., Missouri?.

All six of these kids are entered on the Putnam County Missouri Register of Births. Maybe when the last

one was born in that county they registered them all there.



" Later Find" The births of all six kids was funished when Nancy applied for a veterans pension #190-009, it states he died at home, while on sick furlow, of typhoid fever. In 1874 she still didn't have her pension because she couldn't get a statement from a commanding officer."
