I have an Avise line also and just ran across several articles including some mentioning a Cora M Avise who married a Mr Curtis. I believe she married someone else before that? I don't know an easy way to post the multiple articles, or if you'd want to see them all or etc.

Actually I am looking at her mother's obituary. I believe her mother was married to the brother of one of my ancestors. I am working on that. This is all new today. Lol

So, I have a Mary Ann Green who married a William Matthias Avise, and had seven children, three of whom were living and mentioned at the time of the obituary. Those children were George G., Walter T., and Cora M. Avise.

Mary Ann Green Avise was daughter of George Green. It is an obit packed with genealogical info and I have been trying to figure out a way to get it onto this site without making an entirely new tree.
