On Page 253 the ATWELL house (1761) still stands in Wolfeville Nova Scotia.
We were Planters, Early Planters (Royalsits) went to the Caribbean and Virginia first follwed closely by Puritan Atwells who prefered the North, ie Main and Connecticut MD ect. Some became endentured servants not by choice but by chance. Some Atwells are now BLACKS and I believe some are Part Native (Pequot or Mohegan) but most to look at are W>A>S>P>. For Certain though we are Planters as the book describes us.
