I was recently looking for 1810 census info on my GG grandfather John Atkinson, b. abt 1803 in Harrison Co, WV. Didn't find it, but it was pointed out to me that his marriage to Margaret Glover on 4 Sept. 1828 in Harrison Co. WV was rather close in time and place to the marriage of a Jane Atkinson and John Amos on 4 Oct. 1827, also in Harrison Co. Wv.

I am suspect John and Jane were both children of the John Atkinson and Isabella Jones that you mention. I have just begun to fearch for documentation of this and your post sure adds new information for that search.

My John Atkinson had a large family, just as your Jane had. If interested in info on my side, let me know. I will keep your post and keep you updated on my search.
