I did find out, Alfred Ashley was came from Mt. Clemens in/about 1845. He was a businessman. He "founded" the town of Ashley, which was also know as Ashleyville.

He did purchase 60 acres of land on both sides of Washington Street.

Other street names, which may or may not be family names on this 60 acres includ: Alfred, Norbert, Will Lee, and Milo.

I have not been able to find out if he was married, his birth or dates of death yet.
